Thailand and Myanmar Earthquake:
On March 28, Myanmar and Thailand were shaken to its core by two catastrophic earthquakes, the strongest reaching 7.7 magnitude. In mere moments, entire communities were reduced to rubble. Families were buried beneath the wreckage, parents ran through the chaos searching for their missing children, and hospitals struggled to keep up with the flood of wounded survivors.
The devastation is beyond measure—homes have crumbled, bridges have collapsed, and lives have been shattered. People who once had a roof over their heads are now left with nothing but grief and uncertainty. Their world has fallen apart, and they need us now more than ever
Who is Affected: The Crisis in Myanmar
Over 1,700+ lives have been lost, more than 2,200 people are injured, and hundreds remain missing. The destruction is staggering—80% of the infrastructure near the epicenter has been reduced to rubble.
The tremors were so powerful that a 30-storey government office under construction collapsed, leaving dozens trapped. Millions are now without food, shelter, and medical care.
