• The debris from the landslides destroyed vital infrastructure and disrupted connectivity between the Kashmir valley and Jammu division.

Who’s Affected: Families, Farmers & Commuters

• Homes and shops have been damaged or buried under landslide debris.
• Numerous vehicles were swept into deep gorges or remain buried under the rubble.
• Dozens of commuters are stranded on the critical Srinagar-Jammu highway, unable to return home or access aid.
• Farmers, especially those dependent on apple cultivation, face devastating losses.
