    Location: Kutch, Gujarat

    Job Description:

    • Coordination for the multiple handicrafts and livelihood projects running in the Gujarat state.
    • Lead the supply-chain management of handicrafts' based procurements and sale to different agencies.
    • Understand the needs of the local community, ideate and share program ideas with the central office.
    • Surveys and mobilization in the respective communities for existing and upcoming programs.
    • Preparation of various project progress reports (Monthly/ Quarterly/ Semesterly/ Annually), based on active monitoring and evaluation. Preparing stories of success for the project.
    • Responsible for budget preparation and overall finance management 
    • Screening and hiring of locals required for various tasks/activities.
    Skills needed:
    • Language skills (read/write/speak) especially in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
    • A minimum of three years of experience in grassroots work would be desirable.
    • Proficiency in project management for managing multiple aspects of the development programs.

    Job Description:

    • Manage and Lead the communications unit of the organization, with an overlay of content writing, social media management, design and reports.
    • Design and execute powerful communication like social media, newsletters, blogs,  and similar marketing materials in order to promote the company’s products and services.

    Skills Needed:

    • Proficiency in written and oral communication in English and Hindi.
    • Knowledge of interactive design including best practices in technology, usability and user experience
    • Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and with a strong delegation power
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize different tasks.
    • A minimum of three years of successfully demonstrated experience in communications would be desirable.

    Job Description:

    • Responsible for writing effective concept notes, grant and CSR proposals for ongoing and upcoming projects.
    • Develop content for internal and external communication, including various reports like donor reports, monthly reports, newsletter, brochure, marketing materials etc.
    • Explore, evaluate, strategize and execute applications for various funding opportunities, across corporate, foundations and governments.

    Skills Required:

    • Comfortable working with MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc).
    • Basic design understanding for proposals and reports, including graphics, and typography.
    • Minimum of two years of successfully demonstrated experience in proposal writing would be desirable.

    Job Description:

    • Plan, design and execute field surveys for identifying community needs at the project locations, based on engagement with the local population.
    • Work closely with NGO partners, and ensure that they are able to fulfil Sewa International's impact mandate.
    • Construct and facilitate the adoption of the Impact Assessment and Monitoring framework:
      • Review the quality of data existing in the current projects, methods of collection and the degree of accuracy  
      • Prepare overall targets: validate project-level goals, map outcomes and facilitate reporting against impact goals at a project/program level.
      • Validate impact on the field with effective projects, data management and impact measurement tools.
      • Standardize indicators, templates, and reporting frameworks.
    • Create a research and learning framework of the project: For both internal and external training.
    • Identify and engage external research/consulting partners to improve existing processes and for third party assessments of planned interventions
    • Measure and Report Sewa International's impact on the communities, present impact details to Internal and External stakeholders, and plan new interventions to deepen the impact.
    Skills:
    • Technical familiarity with evaluation methods, Monitoring tools, and reporting systems, with demonstrated experience in compiling and reporting results of management and field activities.
    • Willingness to travel across India, based on project needs.
    • Self-starter, organized with the ability to work without supervision
    • Proficiency in English, Hindi (Knowing Garhwali/Bengali/Gujarati would be added advantage)
    • A minimum of two years of successfully demonstrated experience in impact evaluation would be desirable.
    • Community experience, of on-ground engagement with NGOs and Local population, would be desirable.

    Location: Kanchanpur, North Tripura and Roing, Arunachal Pradesh.

    Job Description:

    • Coordination for the multiple livelihood generation and other projects running in Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh.
    • Understand the needs of the local community, ideate and share program ideas with the central office.
    • Surveys and mobilization in the respective communities for existing and upcoming programs.
    • Strategy planning and successful implementation in discussion with the project manager.
    • Preparation of various project progress reports (Monthly/ Quarterly/ Semesterly/ Annually), based on active monitoring and evaluation. Preparing stories of success for the project.
    • Liaison and coordinate with different stakeholders for various events, functions, activities etc.
    • Responsible for budget preparation and overall finance management 
    • Screening and hiring of locals required for various tasks/activities.
    Skills needed:
    • Language skills (read/write/speak) especially in English, Hindi and Bengali.
    • Preference would be given to candidate with knowledge of a local tribal language such as Kokbru etc.
    • 4-5 years of total working experience in the social sector.
    • Sound knowledge as a field coordinator for understanding and implementing a development program
    • Great team-work player
