Position: Senior Associate – Program

Location: New Delhi

Department: Programs

Reporting To: Senior Manager - Programs

About the Role:

The Senior Associate – Operations will support effective implementation of projects at state/field level including planning, coordination, reporting, partner management, and documentation. The role requires strong project execution capability, stakeholder management and a passion for social impact.

Key Responsibilities

A. Program Implementation & Coordination

● Support development and execution of program work plans

● Coordinate with field teams, state offices and partner NGOs for smooth implementation

● Track program timelines, deliverables, and field activities

● Identify operational issues and escalate for timely resolution

B. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

● Maintain program MIS, trackers and databases

● Obtain and Collect field reports, case stories, and progress updates

● Compile monthly/quarterly program reports

● Analyse data and inputs for donor reporting

C. Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

● Liaise with implementation partners, field teams, and community stakeholders

● Support in organizing partner meetings, workshops and reviews

● Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

D. Field Support

● Conduct field visits for monitoring activities

● Review implementation quality based on KPIs and program guidelines

● Capture learnings, best practices and challenges from field

E. Documentation & Knowledge Management

● Prepare concept notes, presentations, and program briefs

● Draft success stories, case studies and newsletters

● Support communication and advocacy efforts as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Rural Management, or related fields

● 2–5 years of relevant experience in development sector program management

● Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills

● Ability to analyze data and prepare quality documentation

● Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)

● Willingness to travel to field locations

Preferred Experience

● Experience working in NGOs, CSR projects, or development programs

● Exposure to government interface, donor reporting or community-based projects
