Beaches are of aesthetic, recreational and social value for humans as well as a habitat for a number of plant and animal species. The beach cleaning drive in Mumbai was organized as part of Sewa International's environmental conservation efforts. The objective of the drive was to promote volunteer engagement and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining clean and healthy beaches.
