In India, over 30,000 children had lost both or either of their parents. Millions have lost their jobs. This COVID-led crisis in the family had left millions of children with very little or no financial support for their further education. It is a chance for us to come together and make a difference in a child's life who needs financial and moral support to complete their school education. Sewa International, through their project SaC-CAF, aims to provide financial assistance for children who have lost their parent(s) due to the pandemic and/or whose parents had lost their job due to COVID.

To help the children rebuild their lives, we will provide holistic support which includes financial support to complete their education and co-curricular activities and provide requisite moral support.

Project Objectives

• Provide holistic support (education, co curricular, and mental) to the child
• Support child to complete class 10^th or 12^th and continues education in a polytechnic or college

Proposed Project Activities

• Financial Support: Pay fees directly to the school. Support the cocurricular activities of the child by paying to the local-teacher directly.
• Self-Development: Conduct quarterly Personality Development sessions

Higher Education Guidance: Conduct career counseling for class 10^th & 12^th. Provide support for Polytechnic/NEET coaching for the meritorious-needy-children

Eligibility

• Open for Indian nationals only.
• The students must be currently studying in Class 1 to 12 in a private or government-aided school.
• Financial aid up to INR 25,000 per annum per child
• Till the student completes class 10/12
• Career counseling (for class 10/12)
• Personality development classes for future preparedness & readiness

Refer Children

• Fill the details of the student in the form
• Submit the following documents after due-diligence call from our team
• 1. Passport size photograph
  2. Last year's marksheets (2019-20) 
  3. Identity proof (Aadhaar Card)
  4. Current Year Admission Proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate) (2020-21)
  5. Request letter from the school about the fee to be paid and the account details
  6. Crisis document (death certificate)
