Roles & Responsibilities

Impact Assessment

Curate impact assessment models and manage its execution for various on-ground projects across the country, in tandem with our on-ground sewa teams and volunteers.

Business Development

Support in strategy, and marketing for various social businesses run by rural communities. Engage with rural entrepreneurs and sewa teams for articulating business plans and executing them on the ground.

Community Work (Rural/Urban)

Working with rural & urban communities to understand their challenges, by doing baseline surveys to identify possible problems and brainstorm on possible solutions.

Policy research 

Understand the socioeconomic and governance background for various social projects in a particular geography, and scout for possible social interventions to augment social impact in the area.

Campaign Marketing

Curate and Run marketing and fundraising campaigns for various social projects across India, in tandem with our ground teams, and work collaboratively to reach the goals.

Content Writing

• Good writing skills with well versed in English & Hindi.
• Willingness to travel as per project requirement.
• Hands-on canva would be appreciated.

Operations

To support the rigour of day-to-day operations, including follow-ups with stakeholders, updating dashboards and status trackers, generation of templates and reports, tracking action points to closure, incorporate the learnings and feedback to improvise the processes thereof.

Technology

To steer the efforts in leveraging technology at Sewa - to increase the operational efficiency of projects, simplify and improve usage of data for reporting and analysis, promote the team working and learning experience, as well as ensure effective communication.

Grassroots Journalism

Journal the ongoing projects across the country, engage with grassroots communities, interact with sewa on-ground teams, and document them in the form of stories, interviews, and case studies.

Video Editing

Good hold on content curation:

• Storytelling, and basics of cinematography.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software.
• Strong visualization skills should be preferable.
• Imagination and Innovation.

Software skills needed:

• Windows: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, after effects skills would be necessary.
• macOS: FCP would be preferable.
